Privacy

Last updated: {{LAST_UPDATED_PLACEHOLDER}}

This page explains what personal information we collect when you join the HerdHive waitlist, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We follow South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your WhatsApp number
  • Your email address (optional)
  • Your province or region (optional)
  • What you farm (optional)

Why we collect it

We collect this information for one reason: to contact you about HerdHive’s launch and to help you get started. We only do this with your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the waitlist form. The box is never pre-ticked.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist details until HerdHive launches and you have had the chance to sign up — or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.

Your rights

Under POPIA you can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To make any of these requests, email {{CONTACT_EMAIL_PLACEHOLDER}} and we will action it.

Where your data is stored

Your waitlist details are stored securely in HerdHive’s database. Access is limited to the people who need it to contact you about launch.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as HerdHive grows. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page.
